Terms of use

Last updated: 29 October 2026

This page is an English translation provided for convenience. Only the French version is legally binding: in case of any difference, the French version prevails.

These terms (the "Terms of Use") govern access to and use of the creator-academy.co website and its free tools. The purchase of a paid course is governed by a separate document, our terms of sale.

Registered office: Rue des Vignes 35, 1435 Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium

Company and VAT number: BE 1039.457.839

Creator Academy is a trade name operated by Norde SRL. Information about the hosting provider can be found in our legal notice.

2) Purpose and acceptance

The website presents our business, publishes articles and provides free tools such as calculators and generators. It also gives access to our paid courses.

Using the website constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Use. When you create an account, you expressly accept them, together with the privacy policy, by ticking the box provided for that purpose; the date and time of this acceptance are recorded. If you do not accept them, simply do not use the website. These Terms of Use do not restrict any right granted to you by law as a consumer.

3) Access to the website

  • Free of charge. Access to the website and its free content is open and does not require creating an account.
  • Availability. We strive to keep the website accessible, but cannot guarantee continuous availability. We may suspend or limit it for maintenance, upgrades, security or in the event of force majeure. Where reasonably possible, we will give advance notice of scheduled interruptions.
  • Equipment. The hardware, software and connection required are your responsibility.

4) Free tools

The tools made available, in particular the editing time calculator, the quote calculator and Harmoni X Cut, are provided free of charge and for guidance only. Their results are estimates produced by automated calculations and constitute neither a contractual quote nor personalised professional advice.

Unless otherwise stated on the relevant page, the files you process in these tools are analysed in your browser and are not sent to us. You remain responsible for the content you use in them and must hold the necessary rights.

We may modify, restrict or withdraw a tool at any time, without this giving rise to any right to compensation.

5) Intellectual property

All elements of the website, in particular texts, images, videos, graphics, logos, visual identity guidelines, source code, databases, articles and tools, are protected by Book XI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law and remain the exclusive property of Norde SRL or its partners.

You may view, print and quote the content for strictly personal, educational or journalistic purposes, in compliance with the right of quotation and with acknowledgement of the source. Any other reproduction, representation, adaptation, redistribution or commercial exploitation, in whole or in part, requires our prior written authorisation.

Any third-party trademarks mentioned, in particular DaVinci Resolve, Blackmagic Design, Adobe and YouTube, remain the property of their owners. Their mention does not imply any partnership with or endorsement by them.

6) Acceptable use

By using the website, you undertake to:

  • comply with the law and the rights of third parties, in particular intellectual property rights;
  • not use it for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purposes;
  • not attempt to access the systems without authorisation, disrupt their operation or circumvent their security measures;
  • not carry out large-scale automated extraction of the content, whether by scraping or systematic crawling, without our consent;
  • not introduce viruses or code liable to damage the website or other people's equipment;
  • not share, resell or distribute the plugins, their files or your licence keys, nor circumvent their protection measures (licence verification, file identification marking).

In the event of a serious breach, we may restrict your access to the website. This measure is proportionate to the breach observed and does not affect any courses you have already purchased. Sharing or distributing a plugin may result in the suspension or revocation of its licence, under the conditions set out in article 11 of the terms of sale.

7) Personal data and cookies

The processing of your data is described in our privacy policy and the use of trackers in our cookie policy, where you can change your consent at any time.

8) Liability

We strive to publish accurate and up-to-date information, but cannot guarantee that it is complete or free from errors. The content is provided for information purposes and does not constitute personalised professional advice, whether legal, tax or technical.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage resulting from the use or unavailability of the website, for interruptions due to force majeure, the network or your equipment, or for the content of third-party websites accessible via a link.

These limitations do not apply in the event of fraud (dol) or gross negligence, in the event of personal injury caused by our fault, or in any case where Belgian consumer law prohibits limiting or excluding our liability.

9) Links to third-party websites

The website contains links to websites that we do not control. We accept no responsibility for their content, practices or availability. Visiting them is subject to their own terms.

10) Changes to the Terms of Use

We may amend these Terms of Use to adapt them to the website or to legislation. The applicable version is the one published at the time of your use, the date of the last update being shown at the top of the document.

11) Governing law and disputes

These Terms of Use are governed by Belgian law, without prejudice to more favourable mandatory provisions of the consumer's country of residence within the European Union.

If a problem arises, please write to us first at kriss@creator-academy.co: the vast majority of situations are resolved this way. The remedies specific to purchases, including consumer mediation, are detailed in our terms of sale.

Failing an amicable settlement, the Belgian courts and tribunals of the registered office of Norde SRL have jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory rules protecting consumers, who may always bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence.

12) Miscellaneous

  • Severability. If a clause is held to be void or unenforceable, the remaining clauses remain in force.
  • No waiver. Failure to invoke a right at a given time does not constitute a waiver of the right to invoke it later.
  • Assignment. We may assign these Terms of Use as part of a transfer of business or a restructuring, without this being able to reduce your rights.
